New Home Sales Decline in May
Sales of newly built, single-family homes declined dramatically in May following the expiration of a popular home buyer tax credit program in the previous month, according to newly released figures by the U.S. Commerce Department. The data show that sales fell 32.7 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 300,000 units, the lowest number on record since the government started keeping track in 1963.

Stop the so called 'Fair Play Act'
What Assemblywoman Susan John calls "Fair Play" most normal business people would call UNFAIR. News on the street is that M/A John has amended her bill to an 'E' print. The bill is still a bad one and could have a crippling effect on New York’s already overburdened small businesses.

Is the EPA finally listening?
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has delayed enforcement actions regarding training and firm certification requirements against remodelers under the Lead: Renovation, Repair, and Painting rule until October 1.
